Why Work With Me?
As actors, we know accent work can feel exposing. It asks us to step beyond what is familiar — to explore new sounds, new muscular patterns, and new vocal placements. That vulnerability is real, and I understand it not just as a coach, but as a fellow actor.
My relationship with accent work shifted during my training at ‘The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’ and through my work with ‘Knight-Thompson Speechwork’. What once felt intimidating became a detailed and creative exploration of voice and identity.
The question became: What has to shift?
That spirit of curiosity and practical exploration is what I now bring to my coaching.
